Rules and Instructions
To ensure a safe, respectful, enjoyable and family-friendly Navratri celebration, all guests are requested to read and follow the following rules. Entry to the event constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
1. Registration, Entry & Passes
- Registration is available only after approval by the United Garba Bijainagar โ Season 5 management team.
- Children above 7 years of age require a separate single pass. Please register them separately.
- Submission of an interest/application form does not guarantee entry or registration.
- Entry is strictly permitted only with a valid event pass/ticket/QR code.
- Each pass is valid only for the event date and time.
- The pass must be presented at the entry gate whenever requested by the event/security team.
- Passes are non-transferable and non-refundable.
- Organizers reserve the right to verify the identity of the pass holder.
- Duplicate, tampered, damaged or unauthorized passes will not be accepted.
- Children must be accompanied and supervised by their parents/guardians.
2. Family-Friendly Event
- United Garba is a family-oriented cultural celebration. Guests are expected to maintain respectful and appropriate behavior throughout the venue.
- Misbehavior, harassment, abusive language, fighting, threatening behavior or any form of inappropriate conduct will not be tolerated.
- Any person found creating inconvenience or discomfort for other guests may be removed from the venue without refund.
3. Dress Code
- Guests are encouraged/required to wear traditional Indian/Garba attire as specified by the organizer.
- Clothing or accessories containing offensive, vulgar or inappropriate content are not permitted.
- The organizer/security team may refuse entry in case of violation of the prescribed dress code.
4. Prohibited Items
The following items are strictly prohibited inside the event premises:
- Alcoholic beverages
- Drugs or illegal substances
- Tobacco products, cigarettes, vapes or smoking materials
- Weapons or sharp objects
- Firecrackers, explosives or inflammable materials
- Glass bottles or containers
- Laser pointers
- Professional cameras/equipment without prior authorization
- Drones without prior written permission
- Any item considered dangerous or inappropriate by the security team
5. Security & Screening
- All guests are subject to security screening/checking at entry.
- Guests must cooperate with security personnel and event management.
- The organizer reserves the right to conduct bag checks and deny entry to prohibited items.
- Security decisions made for maintaining safety and crowd control shall be followed immediately.
6. Garba & Dandiya Area
- Garba/Dandiya should be performed responsibly and without intentionally pushing, hitting or disturbing others.
- Reckless dancing, aggressive behavior or deliberately causing injury to another person is strictly prohibited.
- Please respect personal space, particularly around children, senior citizens and families.
- Dandiya sticks must be used responsibly. Any misuse may result in removal from the venue.
7. Children & Senior Citizens
- Parents/guardians are solely responsible for the safety and supervision of their children.
- Children should not be left unattended anywhere inside the venue.
- Senior citizens are requested to use designated seating/rest areas wherever provided.
- In case a child is separated from their family, immediately contact the event help desk/security team.
8. Photography & Videography
- Photography and videography may be carried out by the official event team for event documentation, promotional and social-media purposes.
- By entering the venue, guests acknowledge that they may appear incidentally in photographs/videos captured during the event.
- Guests must not photograph or record other attendees in a manner that causes discomfort, harassment or privacy concerns.
- Commercial photography/videography requires prior permission from the organizer.
9. Food & Refreshments
- Outside food and beverages may not be permitted inside the venue unless specifically authorized.
- Food and refreshments must be consumed only in designated areas where applicable.
- Please dispose of waste responsibly and help maintain the cleanliness of the venue.
10. Smoking & Intoxicants
- Smoking, vaping, alcohol consumption and possession/use of illegal substances are strictly prohibited within the event premises.
- Any person found under the influence of intoxicants and causing disturbance may be denied entry or removed from the venue.
11. Respect & Zero-Tolerance Policy
United Garba follows a strict zero-tolerance policy towards:
- Harassment or inappropriate behavior
- Fighting or physical altercations
- Stalking or unwanted interaction
- Verbal abuse
- Intimidation or threatening behavior
- Damage to venue/event property
- Any activity that compromises the safety or dignity of other guests
Depending on the circumstances, the matter may be reported to the appropriate authorities.
12. Weather & Force Majeure
The event may be delayed, interrupted, rescheduled or cancelled due to heavy rain, extreme weather, natural calamities, government orders, law-and-order situations, technical issues or other circumstances beyond the organizer's reasonable control.
Any decision regarding cancellation, postponement or modification will be communicated through the organizer's official communication channels.
13. Lost & Found
- Guests are responsible for their personal belongings.
- The organizer is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings.
- Lost items, if found, should be handed over to the official help desk/security team.
14. Parking
- Vehicles must be parked only in the designated parking areas.
- Guests must follow instructions of parking/security personnel.
- Parking is subject to availability.
- The organizer is not responsible for loss of or damage to vehicles or belongings kept inside vehicles.
15. Ticket & Refund Policy
- Once purchased, tickets/passes are generally non-refundable and non-transferable, except where a specific refund policy is announced by the organizer.
- In case of event postponement or cancellation, the applicable refund/transfer policy will be communicated through official channels.
- No refund will be provided for refusal of entry resulting from violation of event rules.
16. Organizer's Rights
The organizer reserves the right to:
- Refuse or cancel entry where necessary for safety, security or rule violations.
- Remove any guest who violates these rules.
- Modify event timings, activities, arrangements or venue facilities when required.
- Introduce additional safety/security measures whenever necessary.
- Take appropriate action against anyone causing harm, disturbance or inconvenience to other attendees.
18. Compliance With Law
All attendees are required to comply with applicable laws, government directions, venue regulations and instructions issued by authorized authorities. Public-event permissions and safety requirements may vary depending on the venue and local administration.
19. Final Authority
The decision of the Event Organizer, Event Management Team and Authorized Security Personnel regarding entry, safety, security and conduct at the event shall be final, subject to applicable law.
